During my time at Southern Utah University (SUU), I had the opportunity to work in their First Year Experience office, where I contributed significantly to various departments. Working closely with the VP of Student Affairs, Student Programming Board, Career Center and Financial Wellness offices. I was responsible for creating fun graphics that captured each department’s mission and objectives.

One of my notable achievements was establishing the branding for Thunder U, SUU’s freshman orientation program. This event is held annually and allows the University to welcome over 2,000 students to the school.

I created the event’s branding from scratch and designed a style guide for others to follow, to ensure consistency on all fronts. This task included designing comprehensive visual materials such as signage, mailers, shirts, swag items, and social media advertisements, all aimed at keeping students well-informed and fostering a stronger connection with SUU.

Additionally, I spearheaded the creation of captivating visuals for the events organized within our office. This role not only allowed me to refine and expand my design skills but also brought me satisfaction in seeing my artwork displayed throughout the campus community.
